DD15 DEF Header Sensor Fault — corroded pin 3 pigtail

Key off, allow 4 min for DEF pressure bleed-down. Do not open the header hot.

Disconnect the DEF header connector and inspect pin 3 for green oxide. This is the failure 6 out of 8 times.

Cut back the harness 50 mm past the corrosion and install the OEM pigtail repair kit with adhesive-lined heat shrink.

Reinstall the header with a new seal ring.
TORQUE · 9 ft-lb (12 N·m), cross pattern

Clear codes, run the stationary DEF pressure build test. Pass is 72–96 psi within 45 s.

Log dosing values in ppm to the RO before releasing the unit.
